<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a range side lobe while avoiding an effect due to signal distortion in a transmission and reception system without providing a special circuit for shaping a transmission waveform in a pulse compression radar device with a narrow transmission pulse width. <P>SOLUTION: A range side lob removal means is provided, which estimates amplitude of the range side lobe appearing before and after a target signal in a range direction from a pulse compression signal, subtracts the estimated amplitude of the range side lobe from the pulse compression signal, and reduces the range side lobe. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
