PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floating type connector which is rich in connection workability and highly reliable. SOLUTION: The connector which can be contacted and separated in contact direction with a connecting counterpart is provided with an alignment member 10 for positioning. A first housing for receiving the connecting counterpart is movable to the alignment member. Furthermore, a second housing which is movable to the alignment member and the first housing is provided. A contact is supported between the first and the second housings. The alignment member and the second housing are provided with a stopper mechanism which defines three-dimensionally the movement range of the first housing. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
