PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability of dedendum portions while maintaining the bending property of a toothed belt. SOLUTION: The toothed belt 10 includes a tooth rubber layer 11 and a back rubber layer 12. The tooth rubber layer 11 includes tooth portions 14 and tooth bottom portions alternately formed along the longitudinal direction of the belt. The tooth rubber layer 11 consists of a surface tooth rubber layer 16 provided on the tooth surface side, and an adhesive rubber layer 17 provided on the side of the back rubber layer 12. Between the adhesive rubber layer 17 and the back rubber layer 12, core wires 30 are embedded extending in the longitudinal direction in crosswise spaced relation. Part of the adhesive rubber layer 17 is formed running over from between the core wires 30 to the side of the back rubber layer 12 to form run-over portions 18. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
