PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase taking-up efficiency to two times without considerably increasing an installation space by using a traverse part. SOLUTION: This twin drum winder is constituted of a body, a pair of guide rails provided in front of the body, a sliding part connected to the pair of guide rails to elevate/lower, a pair of friction parts provided on both sides of the sliding part, the one traverse part provided as a center of the sliding part between the friction parts, a pair of drums provided as the fronts of the body in lower parts of the pair of friction parts and provided with bobbin holders in each of an upper part and a lower part, and a drum rotating part for locating the bobbin holder of the upper part in the lower part by making the drums perform circular-arc motions and locating the bobbin holder of the lower part in the upper part.
