A Jatropha curcas hybrid designated as Nandan-2, responsible for high seed yield is disclosed. The process of invention relates to a new and distinctive Jatropha curcas hybrid designated as Nandan-2 for high oil content and construction of molecular marker specific to hybrid Nandan-2. We would like to patent our hybrid Nandan-2 in the process o£ invention and for the construction of molecular marker responsible for high oil content and is specific to hybrid Nandan -2 and hence we are here by enclosing the same.
