<p>For the method of determining a position of a radiofrequency signal receiver (1), the receiver comprises means for receiving and shaping the radiofrequency signals (3) originating from satellites, a correlation stage (7) and microprocessor means (12). Intermediate signals (IF) frequency converted in the shaping means are provided to several channels (7') of the correlation stage (7) so as to correlate them with replicas of the carrier frequency and of specific codes of satellites to be searched for and tracked. At least one channel of the correlation stage is firstly configured to search for an SBAS geostationary satellite. The microprocessor means (12) can provide a setpoint for calibrating the frequency of timing signals provided by digitally controlled oscillators integrated into the channels of the correlation stage, or calibrate clock signals (CLK, CLK16) produced by a clock signal generator (5), on the basis of temporal data derived from an SBAS data message. Finally, several channels are configured to search for other satellites of the GPS type for calculating the position and the time in the microprocessor means.</p> |
