PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothbrush capable of stabilizing the conducting state inside the oral cavity.

SOLUTION: The toothbrush 1 comprises a battery 6; a distal-end electrode 9 connected to one pole of the battery 6 and mounted at the distal end part 2d as the part to be inserted into the oral cavity when teeth are brushed; and a handle-side electrode 10 connected to the other pole of the battery 6 and exposed to the surface of a handle 2b. A liquid storage chamber 20 having a movable lid (a root part 22 of bristles 2j) is formed at the distal end part 2d, and the distal-end electrode 9 is disposed to face the interior of the liquid storage chamber 20.
