A method for transmitting a data block is provided to efficiently control a block error rate by adaptively increasing/decreasing a size of a block according to a channel environment. An input data is divided into a plurality of blocks. One or more block set is generated by using a plurality of blocks(S201). A first block set is encoded among one or more block set(S202). An encoded block of a required number in the first block set is transmitted to a receiving end(S203). A signal which indicates a state of a channel environment is received from the receiving end(S204). The encoded block is packed. The packed block is transmitted to the receiving end(S205,S206).
