A socket pin bonding method for a stranded wire is provided to weld a socket pin to the wire since ultrasonic welding is possible even in case of the stranded wire, thereby obtaining a sufficient tensile force as cutting down a manufacturing cost. A socket pin(200) is bent on a jig(100) in an inclined way. A section of a usage wire(300) to be bonded is disposed on the jig, and is inserted into the bent socket pin. While an upper side of the socket pin into which the usage wire is inserted is pressurized with a horn, ultrasonic vibration is applied for welding. The inserted section of the usage wire is covered or uncovered. The socket pin is folded in half on the usage wire, and the folded socket pin is disposed one more time, then the horn is equipped on the socket pin.
