An electrolytic polishing method of a carbon carburizing specimen for the EBSD analysis is provided to accurately evaluate the amount of the residual austenite in the high magnification and low resolution. An electrolytic polishing method of a carbon carburizing specimen for the EBSD analysis comprises: a step of collecting a cemented steel specimen for the EBSD measurement; a step of putting the cemented steel specimen into the electrolyte(4); and a step of performing the electrolytic polishing of a surface of the specimen. The electrolyte performing the electrolytic polishing of the surface of the cemented steel specimen is made from perchloric acid 40vol.%, methanol 5vol.%, butoxy ethanol 10vol.%, propanol 10vol.%, acetic acid 15vol.%, and distilled water 20vol.%.
