Oxide material (I) comprising lanthanide, alkali or alkaline earth metal and transition metal(s), and containing a cationic gap or vacancy is new. Oxide material of formula A 2-x-yA 1> xA 2> yM 1-zM 1> zO (4+d) (I) is new. A, A 1>a cationic metal from lanthanides and/or alkaline and/or alkaline-earth metals; A 2>cationic gap (a vacant position in A and/or A 1>); M, M 1>transition metal; y : 0-0.30 exclusively (preferably 0-0.20); d : 0-0.25 exclusively (preferably 0-0.10); and x, z : 0-1 inclusively. Independent claims are also included for: (1) an electrode (B) comprising (I); and (2) a device for the production of electrical energy of fuel cell comprising at least an electrochemical cell comprising a solid electrolyte, an anode and a cathode (B).
