System for power-driven tools (100) comprises a tool holder (10) with tool spindle (94), tool holder bearer (12) for the tool machine onto which the holder can be removeably attached, and a mechanical drive train (32,34) leading to the tool holder bearer to drive the spindle. The use of an electric generator (86) is suggested which can be driven by the drive train as well as an electric spindle drive (102) coupled to the electric generator and which drives tool spindle. In another embodiment a hoisting device for a drive medium is driven with a mechanical drive train and a spindle drive powered by this medium is coupled to the hoising device. |
