<p>In a fixing device (20) for fixing a toner image on a recording medium, a fixing roller (21) and a heating roller (23) support a fixing belt (22). A pressing roller (30) presses against the fixing roller (21) via the fixing belt (22) to form a fixing nip between the fixing belt (22) and the pressing roller (30). A tension roller (40) presses against the fixing belt (22) to apply tension to the fixing belt (22). A primary heat source (2) heats the fixing belt (22), and is disposed along an outer face of the fixing belt (22) opposite the heating roller (23). A secondary heat source (45) is provided inside the tension roller (40) to supply deficient heat not provided by the primary heat source (2).</p> |
