A method for processing a password and a system suitable for the same are provided to enhance decidability about illegal attempt by recording an access condition about a password input to a memory. An input password and an input completion key including a valid password and an invalid password are received from user, and are stored in a first memory(205,210). The valid password existing in a predetermined position among input passwords stored in the first memory is extracted based on the input completion key. A match of a native password stored in a second memory and the extracted valid password is determined(250). An opening/closing of a locking device is controlled according to the determined result.
