FIELD: electricity. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, the proposed component being fit for service as the terminal of a wire connected to a power supply source such as an accumulator battery. The electric connector contains a wire connection lug, a circular housing designed as integrated therewith and having an elastic crimp element represented by a garter spring as well as the crimp element retention mechanism with an actuator handle. The garter spring is shaped as a conic frustum partially dissected within the vertical plane in a radial direction on the minor base side; the frustum consists of smaller lower part, circumferentially integer, and a larger upper part fully dissected to form blades. The retention mechanism is equipped with a cylindrical element positioned between the circular housing inward surface and the garter spring outward surface so that to enable interaction between the inward conic surface and the garter spring blades; the cylindrical element has a double-arm handle projecting above over the circular housing bulk in a diametrical direction within the horizontal plane. On the cylindrical element outward surface there are threaded coil sections arranged so that to enable interaction with similar threaded coil sections on the circular housing inward surface. ^ EFFECT: serviceability improvement. ^ 6 dwg |
