<p>The method for the production of roof decorative strip for vehicles, comprises introducing a transfer lacquer foil (14) and a base body (10) of the decorative strip in an injection molding tool and subjecting a bonding agent (12) between the base body and the lacquer foil by an injection molding process. The lacquer foil is arranged in the area of the bonding agent on the base body and is connected by the bonding agent with the base body in firmly bonded manner. The transfer lacquer foil is back-injected in the injection molding process. The method for the production of roof decorative strip for vehicles, comprises introducing a transfer lacquer foil (14) and a base body (10) of the decorative strip in an injection molding tool and subjecting a bonding agent (12) between the base body and the lacquer foil by an injection molding process. The lacquer foil is arranged in the area of the bonding agent on the base body and is connected by the bonding agent with the base body in firmly bonded manner. The transfer lacquer foil is back-injected in the injection molding process and is subjected together with the base body for the connection. The thermoplastic polyvinyl chloride melt is used as bonding agent. The decorative strip is cooled after arranging the lacquer foil by a water bath. The transfer lacquer has a colored layer and/or a gloss paint layer. An independent claim is included for a roof decorative strip for vehicles with a base body.</p> |
