An electro-driven steering apparatus compensating kick back according to the roughness of the road is provided to steer the steering wheel smoothly by transmitting the offsetting current to the motor according to road condition. An electro-driven steering apparatus compensating kick back according to the roughness of the road comprises a wheel acceleration sensor(116) which produces a wheel acceleration information which is an electrical signal according to the acceleration of wheel; a car body acceleration sensor(118) which produces a car body acceleration information which is an electrical signal according to the acceleration of the car body; and an ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(120) which produces a road roughness information by using the wheel acceleration information and the car body acceleration information. Since the ECU sets up a cutoff frequency of a high band pass filter according to the road condition which concerns the information about the road roughness, the offsetting current setting up the kick back compensation gain highly is generated.
