A method for preparing Cheonguk-jang(soup prepared with fermented soybeans) using Glycine Semen Nigra is provided to show the functions of Glycine Semen Nigra by fermenting crushed Glycine Semen Nigra with Bacillus subtilis and a strain-activating material. A method for preparing Cheonguk-jang(soup prepared with fermented soybeans) using Glycine Semen Nigra comprises the following steps of: immersing Glycine Semen Nigra in water; crushing the immersed Glycine Semen Nigra 3-20mm in size; steaming the crushed Glycine Semen Nigra and inoculating 0.01-10 parts of Bacillus subtilis to the Glycine Semen Nigra; adding a strain-activating material; and fermenting the Glycine Semen Nigra containing the strain-activating material. The strain-activating material contains 0.1-5 parts of glucose, 0.01-5 parts of yeast extract and 0.01-0.5 part of MSG on a basis of 100 parts of Glycine Semen Nigra.
