An evaporator is provided to prevent the freezing and brazing bonding fault by easily discharging the condensed water from a lower header. An evaporator comprises an upper header(2), a lower header(4), tubes(22,24) combined between the headers and a heat exchange fin(26) inserted into the tubes. The lower header is consisting of independent a plurality of pipes. A plurality of pipes(14) forms a depression part by closely adhering and a tube is inserted each pipe row. A condensed water discharging part(28) is welded on the cave-in part to the longitudinal direction of the lower header. A groove(28a) supporting the lower part of the heat exchange fin is formed on the condensed water discharging part. The air passes the width direction either side of the lower header through the groove. |
