A server, a system, and a method for providing a keyword searching system to mobile terminals are provided to allocate various keywords, respectively linked with various information and contents, to customers and to offer various information and contents linked with a keyword when a mobile terminal calls the keyword using an information searching application. The user of a mobile terminal runs a keyword application in order to use a keyword searching service(S302). If the user inputs a keyword through the key input part of the mobile terminal, the keyword application transmits the keyword to a keyword searching service server using a hot key allocated to the key input part. The keyword searching service server, receiving the keyword, confirms the version of the keyword application and judges whether updating is required(S304). In case it is judged that updating for the keyword application is not necessary, the keyword searching service server searches a keyword database for the received keyword(S308). If it is confirmed that the keyword exists in the keyword database, the keyword searching service server fetches various information linked with the keyword from the keyword database and transmits it to the mobile terminal(S312). |
