A surface treatment solution for a kind of metal surface and a surface treatment method using the same are provided to make minute defects of metal surface contact with surface treatment solution including polymer so as to coat the minute defects and improve the corrosion resistance of the metal surface. A surface treatment solution for a kind of metal surface is composed of distilled water 90~97wt%, borax, sodium borate deca hydrate which is mineral salts, 1~10wt%, citric acid 0.5~5wt%, and alkaline earth metal of nano particle 0.001~3wt%, with an acidity(pH) of 6~10. The surface treatment solution also contains one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of calcium compound, magnesium compound, titanium compound and strontium compound, calcium compound 0.001~2wt% or magnesium compounds and titanium compound 0.001~2 wt%, and polymer, more than one kind of water-soluble polymeric compound and water dispersible polymer, 0.001~2wt%.
