The engine has an exhaust gas recirculation device activated when the engine consumes fuel (C1), where the ending is configured to function with a high compression rate (T2). A recirculated gas regulation system (50) is arranged to regulate recirculation rate, where the system has an identification module (35) for identifying fuel of fuel mixture (30) to be consumed. The device has an exhaust duct (200) situated in downstream of the engine and a supply duct (100) situated in upstream of the engine. An independent claim is also included for a method for regulating over supply of an exhaust gas recirculated from multifuel internal combustion engine.
