<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly of a tire with a rim equipped with a sound absorbing member on a tire inner cavity side in which cavernous resonance is effectively suppressed and road noise is reduced while increase in the weight of a tire and increase in volume of the sound absorbing member are suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: In the assembly of the tire with the rim, the sound absorbing member is mounted on the tire inner cavity side as a sound absorbing layer for suppressing cavernous resonance in the tire. The sound absorbing member is a non-woven cloth composed of a plurality of fibers. The average distance between the fibers composing the non-woven cloth is in a range of 0.50δ-4.00δ, and its porosityΦis 0.95 or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
