<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of reducing moment that acts on a support part supporting a cleaning member. <P>SOLUTION: The handle portion 54 is located between both guide grooves 65a. This makes it possible to reduce moment that acts on the support part 52 when the handle portion 54 is operated by a user. As a result, the support part 52 can be smoothly slid over a holder and can also be prevented from being fallen from the holder. The height of the handle portion 54 is almost the same as the height of the guide grooves 65a and the height of a blade member 51. Then, further reduction of the moment that acts on the support part 52 becomes possible. In addition, since the handle portion 54 is located between the guide groove 65a, a gap between the handle 54 and an image forming unit adjacent to it can be widened.
