<p>PURPOSE:To treat continuously a molten steel with good productivity by providing a ladle loading and unloading station, molten steel heater, degassing device, slag discharging station, etc. in the circumferential direction of a toric closed loop and discharging slag in the slag discharging station prior to the treatment of the molten steel. CONSTITUTION:The ladle loading and unloading station 1, the slag discharging station 2, the molten steel heater 3, a KAT device 4 and the degassing device 5 are disposed apart from each other in the circumferential direction on the toric closed loop 6. The ladle 15 contg. the molten steel is mounted to a ladle tilting base 10 of a carriage 9 and is moved to the station 2 where the ladle is locked. A ladle tilting mechanism 22 of an expansion and contraction type is then extended and the end thereof is engaged and locked to a part 14 to be engaged of the base 10 and is thrusted from below. The base 10 is therefore inclined outward in the diametral direction with a horizontal shaft 11 as a fulcrum, so that the ladle 15 is tilted and the slag is discharged to a slag discharging pan 36 by a slag dragger 34. The base 10 is returned to the home position upon ending of the slag discharge and the ladle 15 is successively moved to the heater 3 and the degassing device 5 by which the molten steel in the ladle is treated.</p> |
