PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulated electric wire in which adhesiveness is large at normal temperature, and there is less reduction of adhesiveness after heat degradation, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: An outer circumference of a conductor 2 is covered by a coat 3 composed of aluminum chelate, and the outer circumference of the coat 3 is covered by an insulating coat 4 by coating and baking an enamel coating that is composed of a resin composition containing either one of polyester imide, polyamide imide, polyimide, polyester, or polyurethane.
