PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress overflow of liquid from an opening caused by rocking, while securing visibility of an inner part of the level of the liquid stored in a container having an opening formed on the upper surface. SOLUTION: This sloshing overflow suppression device for suppressing overflow from the opening 31 caused by rocking of the liquid such as water 33 stored in the container such as a fuel storage pool 30 having the opening formed on the upper surface is equipped with a plurality of linear bodies 11 crossing the opening 31 under the water level; and a wave prevention plate 21 mounted rotatably on the linear bodies 11, and extending vertically downward longer than an interval between adjacent linear bodies 11.
