PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analyzer capable of managing easily and strictly the number of using times of a microplate. SOLUTION: This analyzer for analyzing a specimen by using the microplate 27 having a plurality of reaction containers 271 into which the specimen and a reagent are dispensed includes; an RFID tag attached to the microplate, for storing the number of using times of the attached microplate; a reader/writer 274 for acquiring the number of using times of the microplate 27 to which the RFID tag is attached, from the RFID tag; and a plate management part 46 for prohibiting use of the microplate 27 to which the RFID tag is attached, when the number of using times read from the RFID tag by the reader/writer 274 agrees with the upper limit value of a prescribed number of using times, and permitting use of the microplate 27 to which the RFID tag is attached, when the number of using times read from the RFID tag by the reader/writer 274 is below the upper limit value of the prescribed number of using times.
