<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an elastic member that has elasticity and is made to be a thin film, and a manufacturing method therefor; a toner fixing member composed of the elastic member; a fixing device using the toner fixing member; chemical and medical components composed of the elastic member; and chemical and medical devices using the chemical and medical components. <P>SOLUTION: The elastic member has a surface layer 2 formed on a base material 1. The base material 1 is made of a porous material. The surface layer 2 is formed by filling rubber, in which fluorinated polyether skeleton is silicone-cross-linked, into the minute holes in the surface of the base material 1. The elastic member is manufactured in such a manner that the minute holes of the base material 1 is filled with liquid rubber in which fluorinated polyether skeleton is not silicone-cross-linked from the surface side, and then the rubber is cross-linked to form the surface layer 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
