PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reserve tank capable of visually determining whether or not a cooling system is operated. SOLUTION: The reserve tank for storing cooling water is provided with a tank body having a plurality of chambers partitioned by partition walls, an inflow port for making the cooling water flow in to the tank body, and an outflow port for making the cooling water flow out from the tank body. The plurality of chambers include a first chamber having the inflow port and a second chamber having the discharge port which are arranged adjacent to each other, and a bypass chamber for bypassing the cooling water from the first chamber to the second chamber. At least part of the tank body has a transparent structure enabling visual recognition of the level of the cooling water in the first and second chambers from outside. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
