<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device promoting uniform diffusion of ammonia to exhaust by using a flow of the exhaust. <P>SOLUTION: An injector 31 is disposed adjacent to a turbine 18 of a supercharger 14 in an exhaust pipe portion 16 forming an exhaust passage 17. The injector 31 injects ammonia toward the turbine 18 to the exhaust passing through the turbine 18. The ammonia is injected in an opposite direction to a swirling flow formed by the exhaust passing through the turbine 18 and along an outer periphery of the flow of the exhaust. Therefore, even when the ammonia which is gas having small penetrating force to the exhaust is injected from the injector 31 to the exhaust, the ammonia and the exhaust are uniformly mixed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
