PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide techniques for showing, especially, operating methods of an image forming apparatus to a user. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 50 includes an operation section 74 having a plurality of operation keys to which identifiers are allocated and which receive execution instructions for predetermined processes, and a display unit; an HD (Hard Disk) 82 for storing moving pictures associated with the operation keys and the identifiers of the operation keys while associating them with each other; and an equipment control section 78 connected to the operation section 74, HD 82, etc. After receiving a user's moving picture registration start instruction from the operation section 74, the equipment control section 78 stores the identifiers of operation keys in the HD 82 in the order of user's depression. After receiving a user's moving picture display instruction from the operation section 74, the equipment control unit 78 reads the identifiers stored in the HD 82 in the order of the depression and further reads the moving picture corresponding to the read identifiers out of the HD 82 to display the moving picture on the display unit.
