PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of suppressing degradation of short-circuiting prevention effect between a refrigerant inflow port and a refrigerant outflow port of a liquid receiver. SOLUTION: A desiccant unit 10 is disposed in the liquid receiver 7 mounted on a left tank 2 of the heat exchanger. The liquid receiver 7 has a cylindrical body 26, and a plug 28 screwed and fitted in a top end opening of the body 26. A refrigerant inflow port 32 and a refrigerant outflow port 33 are formed on the liquid receiver 7 in a state that the former is positioned at an upper part. A circular part 49 projecting inward is formed on a height position between both ports 32, 33 on a peripheral wall of the body 26. The desiccant unit 10 has an upper frame part 51 disposed between the circular part 49 and the plug 28. A top face of the annular part 49 and a bottom end face of the upper frame part 51 are applied as seal faces 65, 66, and an O-ring 64 is disposed between the seal faces 65, 66. A part between both seal faces 65, 66 is sealed by the O-ring 64 by pressing the upper frame part 51 downward by the plug 28. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
