PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-return valve which is forcibly closed by forcibly seating a valve element on a valve seat, or forcibly opened by forcibly releasing the valve element from the valve seat. SOLUTION: An inlet 4, a valve chest 3 and an outlet 6 are formed in a valve casing consisting of a body 1 and a lid member 2. An annular valve seat 5 is provided between the inlet 4 and the valve chest 3. A disk-like valve element 7 for opening/closing the annular valve seat 5 is arranged in the valve chest 3. A coil spring 8 for urging the disk-like valve element 7 to the annular valve seat 5 is provided. A forcibly operating bar 9 is arranged in an advancing/retracting manner through the lid member 2 in an airtight manner. A flange 14 is provided on an inner end of the forcibly operating bar 9, and a flange 13 is provided on a connecting bar 12 of the disk-like valve element 7, the disk-like valve element 7 is seated on the annular valve seat 5 according to the position of the forcibly operating bar 9 and forcibly closed, or the disk-like valve element 7 is released from the annular valve seat 5 and forcibly opened, or the forcibly operating bar 9 is connected to the disk-like valve element 7 so as not to prevent any seating/releasing of the disk-like valve element 7 from/on the annular valve seat 5.
