摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately grasp a temperature state inside an engine, in regard to an engine cooling system capable of obtaining the effect of early warming up the engine and the effect of efficiently cooling the engine. SOLUTION: This engine cooling system 1 comprises a water pump 2, a head flow path 6 provided inside a cylinder head 3, a block-inside flow path 7 supplying cooling water to the head flow path 6 through the inside of a cylinder block 4, a first thermostat 12 for changing a flowing state of the cooling water, which is supplied by the water pump 2, in the head flow path 6 and the block-inside flow path 7, a differential pressure valve 14 to be opened proportionally to the discharge pressure of the water pump 2 so as to make the cooling water flow into the block-inside flow path 7, and further, a water temperature sensor 51 for measuring the temperature of the cooling water flowing in the block-inside flow path 7, and a cover 52 for restricting approach of the cooling water, which flows from the outside of the block-inside flow path 7, to a water temperature detecting section 51a.
