PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive film insertion mechanism, surely keeping a space in which an adhesive film is inserted. SOLUTION: The adhesive film insertion mechanism 6 for a sealed letter manufacturing device includes: an upper suction carrying means 68 carrying a paper sheet 11 while an upper folded piece 112 of a folded paper sheet 11 is sucked on a carrying face 623; and a lower suction carrying means 67 carrying the paper sheet 11 while a lower folding piece 111 of the folded paper sheet 11 is sucked on a carrying face 613. A part of the carrying face 613 of the lower suction carrying means 67 is extruded in the middle in a carrying direction, and the extrusion part 6131 is formed upstream in the carrying direction of a position 614 in which the adhesive film 9 is inserted.
