PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a melting furnace, preventing dissolved loss of an outer disposition body even in a long-time use, favorably operating over a long period of time, and holding down the repair cost to the minimum. SOLUTION: A hole part forming member 20 having a hole part 3 formed to discharge molten material in a furnace includes a cover part 20a, which covers a furnace inner wall surface of the outer disposition body 8 disposed to surround the outside of the hole part forming member 20 in a furnace wall. Thus, even when the melting furnace is operated for a long period of time, dissolved loss is not caused in the furnace inner wall surface of the outer disposition body 8, so that the melting furnace can be favorably operated over a long period of time, and even when dissolved loss is caused near the hole part 3 of the hole part forming member 20 or the cover part 20a, it is enough only to replace the hole part forming member 20, so that the repair cost can be held down to the minimum.
