<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device which can display a medical image enabling an efficient and accurate medical examination in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: The image display device 10 includes: an image data processing means which includes a resolution conversion part 24 for converting image data to a resolution corresponding to sub-pixels, an image division part 26 for dividing and extracting the converted image data per phase of sub-pixels to generate image data in each phase of sub-pixels, a phase determination metadata adding part for adding phase determination metadata to respective pieces of image data, and a transmission part 22 for transmitting image data having had metadata added thereto per phase; and an image display means which includes a reception part for receiving image data transmitted from the transmission part and having had metadata added thereto, a timing phase control part for controlling the display timing of image data and phases of sub-pixels for display, and a display part for displaying the image data at a determined timing with determined phases of sub-pixels. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
