<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a hybrid electric vehicle, effectively suppressing torque fluctuation in driving wheels for transfer from an electric driving mode to an engine driving mode. <P>SOLUTION: When an engine 12 stops, a transmission 16 of an automobile 10 is shifted from a drive gear to a neutral gear. When an engine speed rises, a crankshaft 18 of the engine 12 is rotated to a desired rotational speed, and the transmission 16 is shifted from the neutral gear to a proper transmission gear based on a shift schedule. A target input speed of the transmission 16 is made to be instructed such that the target input speed becomes a speed obtained by adding an offset value to a synchronous speed so as to smoothly leave from the electric driving mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
