<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which prevents generation of conflicts of execution for hard disc functions, when a hard disc is operated, accompanying by a plurality of operation means, at the same time. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus monitors the current execution state of HDD functions. When input signals are received from an external device or an operation part, the image forming apparatus determines whether functions corresponding to the input signals are the HDD functions. If the functions corresponding to the input signals are the HDD functions, the image forming apparatus controls the HDD functions, based on the execution state.
