PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for accessing a network. SOLUTION: A method of authorizing a computing device to access a network includes: receiving authentication data including a user identifier from the computing device; determining whether approval is given to verify the authentication data; and authorizing the device to access the network upon verification of the authentication data when it is determined that the approval is given to verify the authentication data.
