SECONDARY BATTERY PROTECTION CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery protection circuit capable of more reliably stopping electric charge caused by abnormal operation of a computer. SOLUTION: The secondary battery protection circuit includes: a main control circuit 11 which is set so that pulses are generated and output at 2 second intervals by detecting its connection to a power supply 51 in order to charge a secondary battery 61 and by working with a built-in computer 13; a counter circuit 21 which outputs H-level signals when the pulses are not detected at about 2.1 second intervals, and also outputs L-level signals when the pulses are detected at about 2.1 second intervals; and an electric charge control circuit 31 which cuts off a current path when an H-level signal is input, based on a current urging non-connection of the current path from the power supply 51 to the secondary battery 61 or which connects the current path when an L-level signal is input, based on the current urging connection of the current path.
