A decomposition-type deodorant and a preparation method thereof are provided, which enable to remove or suppress the bad smell-releasing material. A decomposition-type deodorant preparation method comprises: a step of successively or simultaneously dipping an inorganic antibiotic material and deodorant material in the mesoporous gas absorbing material; and settling antibiotic material and deodorizing substance into the mesopore of the mesoporous silica. The transition metal group deodorizing substance is selected in the salt or the oxide of copper(Cu), iron(Fe), manganese(Mn), nickel(Ni), cobalt(Co), gold(Au), vanadium(V), ruthenium(Ru), titanium(Ti), chrome(Cr), zinc(Zn), and palladium(Pd). |
