A tank venting device for a motor vehicle is provided to improve increasingly operation reliability of a tank venting procedure and a discharge behavior of a tank venting device with an attaching part of an overpressure line and a fuel vapor accumulator disposed more distant from the fuel vapor accumulator and an attachment part of a venting line than the fuel vapor accumulator and an attachment of a connection line. A tank venting device for a motor vehicle comprises a fuel tank(18), a connection line(26) through which fuel vapor flows from the fuel tank to a fuel vapor accumulator; an overpressure line(34) through which fuel vapor flows from the fuel tank to the fuel vapor accumulator when an overpressure valve(35) opens; and a venting line(27) through which fuel vapor accumulated in the fuel vapor accumulator is supplied to an internal combustion engine(1).
