A method and an apparatus for guiding traffic information is provided to secure traffic information without an additional facility by supplying the traffic information in real time through a visible and audible device such as a navigation system. A traffic information production unit(110) generates traffic information including vehicle speed information at each section. A transmission unit(120) transmits the traffic information to a vehicle in section where wireless communication is available and traffic information collection device. A receiving unit(130) collects the traffic information from the vehicle and the traffic information collection device.
