A device and a method for authoring AR(Augmented Reality), and a computer-readable recording medium storing a program thereof are provided to author the AR through a GUI(Graphic User Interface) by offering a convenient interface to a user and enabling the user to intuitively select/use various virtual objects needed for authoring. An image obtaining device(110) obtains an image of practical circumstance. A manual operation device(150) is equipped with a device ID marker. A VR authoring device(120) tracks a marker for setting up a rule of a VR circumstance from the image obtaining device. The VR authoring device discriminates a position of the manual operation device in the VR circumstance by tracking the device ID marker and selects and authors a virtual object to be augmented by the manual operation device.
