A laundry treating device is provided to prevent the operation of the laundry treating device ceases by being blocked of a water trap. A laundry treating device comprises: a display unit providing the information; a washing tub(40) storing the washing water; and a water trap(50) draining the washing water stored within the washing tub. The drain time of the washing water drained and the washing water amount are measured with the water trap. The display of the information about the water trap displayed on the display unit is determined based on the drained amount washing water and the draining time. |
