A coverlay separating unit and a coverlay attaching device are provided to improve productivity of an FPCB(Flexible Printed Circuit Board) by automatically attaching the separated coverlay to a copper sheet. A coverlay attaching device includes a coverlay separating unit, a copper sheet loading unit(30), and an attaching unit(50). The coverlay separating unit includes a loading part, a transferring part, and a separating part. A plurality of coverlay sheets are loaded in the loading part. The transferring part transfers the coverlay sheet to the separating part one by one. The separation unit separates the coverlay sheet into the coverlay and the release paper. The plurality of copper sheets are loaded in the copper sheet loading unit. The attaching unit attaches a part of the coverlay to the copper sheet by aligning the coverlay with the copper sheet.
