摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decode a moving image adapted to a highly efficient encoding operation, in the moving image in which luminance temporally varies in such a mode as a fade image and a dissolve image. <P>SOLUTION: Encoded data 300 include a predicted error signal representing the difference of a predicted image signal to a moving image signal having a luminance signal and two color-difference signals, a moving-vector information 414, and an index information 415 indicating the combination of at least one reference image number and a predicted parameter preliminarily prepared for each of the luminance signal and the two color-difference signals. The encoded data 300 are decoded by a variable-length decoder 303. By means of a frame memory/predicted image producer 308, a predicted image signal 412 is generated in accordance with the combination of the reference image number and the predicted parameter indicated by the decoded index information, and a reproduction moving image signal is generated by using the predicted error signal and the predicted image signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
