摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently release heat from a reflection type liquid crystal device. <P>SOLUTION: A polycrystalline silicon layer (150) has higher heat conductivity than a TFT array substrate (10). Therefore, heat energy accumulated in a TFT array substrate 10 owing to incident light during the operation of a liquid crystal device 1 is speedily conducted from the TFT array substrate (10) to the polycrystalline silicon layer (150) to be discharged out of the liquid crystal device 1 through the polycrystalline silicon layer (150). Especially, the polycrystalline silicon layer (150) is in direct contact with the TFT array substrate (10), so the heat energy can be efficiently discharged from the TFT array substrate (10) as compared with a case wherein the reverse surface of the TFT array substrate (10) is exposed to air (with a heat conductivity of 0.0241 W/mK at 0&deg;C). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
